The Messenger. 07.09.08 Lottie Byrd (Lee) Gamble, 99, of Samburg died July 8, 2008, at her home. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Alfred Bell and Rose Huey officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery in Hornbeak. Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. Thursday. Pallbearers will be Stephen Walls, Jackie Vancleave, Timmy Vancleave, Hank Moore, Larry Vancleave, Dennis Rinks and Justin Rinks. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry “Pap” Vancleave and Glenn Vancleave. She was born Aug. 30, 1908, in Missouri, daughter of the late Bill Frank Lee and the late Martha Vinie (Burress) Lee Keeton. She married Earnest Reese Gamble Dec. 21, 1924. He preceded her in death Sept. 26, 1988. She was a homemaker and a member of Samburg Pentecostal Church. Survivors include three daughters, Flora May Vancleave and Brenda Carolyn Dotson, both of Samburg, and Ima Jean Moore of Tiptonville; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 29 great-great-grandchildren; and two great-great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her son, Earnest Paul Gamble; her brother, Sam Jones; her sister, Florence Rudd; her grandson, Jimmy Gamble; and her great-great-grandson, Zachary Vancleave.
