Curb painting set

The Messenger. 07.09.08 Union City High School band students will be painting house numbers on curbs Saturday and again on July 19 from 8:30 a.m.-noon each day. Students will be working in the Pleasant Valley and Sherwood Hills areas and from Jordan Terrace to Main Street and Main Street to Reelfoot. The cost will be $10 and all funds raised will go to help students take part in the upcoming band trip to Hawaii in the spring of 2009. Residents in these areas who will not be at home to be contacted on one of the Saturdays or who wish to make arrangements to have their house numbers painted on the curb in advance may call 885-6890 in the Pleasant Valley area, 885-1062 in Sherwood, 885-6799 in the Jordan Terrace area, 796-6319 in the Main Street area or 885-5049 if no other contact is possible.
