Parenting class set

The Messenger. 06.30.08 A co-parenting class has been set for July 23 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Obion County Public Library at 1221 East Reelfoot Ave. in Union City. This class targets parents seeking a divorce who have children younger than 18 years old. Registration is required prior to class and only one parent from the family may attend the class at a time. To register and receive further information, call the Univeristy of Tennessee extension office at 885-3742 prior to July 23. The fee is $30 and must be paid before July 23. The class is educational only and no counseling or legal advice is offered. The class will focus on methods to promote healthy lifestyles for children and will offer information on how parents can help achieve this.
