The Messenger. 06.27.08 The following news was received too late to be included on Thursday’s Religion Page in The Messenger. Ernie Couch and Revival will appear in concert at Crosswind Church in Union City Sunday at 10:25 a.m. The church is located on Barham Road, just off Everett Boulevard, in Union City. “Ernie Couch and Revival exemplify what good gospel music is all about. This live band performs music in a unique blend of styles to ensure everyone enjoys the concert. They are well-known across the country and Canada for a high-energy brand of live music,” a spokesman said. Members of the group add they hope audiences leave their concerts feeling better than when they arrived and say they will not only be entertained but will be more focused on the One that makes life worth living. The group has been traveling together and singing for more than a decade and they strive to bring quality to their work worthy of the One they sing about. Their recording history includes their own projects, plus appearances with Jake Hess, George Jones, James Blackwood, Boots Randolph, George Beverly Shea, Petra and many others. The group’s Web site offers additional information at www.erniecouchandrevival.com or those interested may call the church at 446-7989. The Rev. Andy Blackwell is pastor.
