The Messenger. 06.27.08 Kendall Darshawn Wilson, 15, of Union City died 1:35 a.m. June 25, 2008, at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville as the result of an automobile accident. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Green Valley Missionary Baptist Church in Clinton, Ky., with the Rev. Eugene McDonald officiating. Burial will follow in Clinton Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday. Brown Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of arrangements. He was born April 13, 1993, in Paducah, Ky., son of Vernetta (Sims) Garmon of Union City and Darrick Wayne Wilson of Chicago. He was a student at Union City High School, where he was a member of the football and track teams, and was a member of Green Valley Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors also include his stepfather, Delvon Garmon of Union City; his sister, Michelle Shaw of LaCenter, Ky.; two stepsisters, Tanika Dickerson and Tanesa Garmon, both of South Fulton; his stepbrother, Adarius Wilson of Chicago; his maternal grandmother, Maisie Sims of Clinton; his paternal grandparents, Eddie and Dorothy Wilson of Chicago; his step-grandparents, Henry and Mary Ingram of Indianapolis; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
