Dorothy N. Medling

Dorothy N. Medling, 84, of Greenfield, died Thursday, June 19, 2008, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City. Services were held 2 p.m. Sunday at Williams Funeral Home, with Brent Arnold officiating. Burial was in Brock’s Cemetery in Greenfield. Jerry D. Monroe, Willie Coats, Jim Paul Medling, Roger Watson, Randy Brooks and Dan Medling served as pallbearers. Mrs. Medling was born June 7, 1924, in Gleason, daughter of the late Clarence and Cecil Finch Hodges. She was the widow of Clois Medling, a homemaker and attended Greenfield Church of Christ. Survivors include one son, Mike Medling of Greenfield; one daughter, Dottie Ruth Bethel of Atlanta, Ga.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
