Completed arrangements for Helen Louise Vaught, 83, of Union City, who died June 19, 2008, at her Reelfoot Lake home, are being announced today. Services will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Fred Thomas officiating. Burial is to follow at East View Cemetery. Friends may call 12:30-2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Sonny Vaught, Jesse Wallace, Johnny Arnold, Lionel Barnett, Klyce Brandon, Van Cole, Dr. Josh Whitledge and Timmy Gantt. She was born March 26, 1925, in Obion County, daughter of the late Hubert S. and Nettie Lee (Eskew) Vaught. She was a ward clerk at the former Obion County General Hospital. She was a member of Mount Manuel Methodist Church. She is survived by two nieces, Peggy Smith of South Fulton and Dona Dyer of Coldwater, Miss.; and two nephews, Milburn “Little Daddy” Vaught and Samuel “Sonny” Vaught, both of Hornbeak.
