Completed arrangements for Ada Leora King, 86, of Union City, who died at her residence June 18, 2008, are being announced today. Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. A.E. McCadney officiating. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery. Rawls Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 6-8 p.m. Pallbearers will be Perry Smith, Brad Jones, Justin Davis, Neil Herrel, Jerome McElrath and Quincy Kennedy. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Herrel, Rodney Herrel, Terry Herrel and Emmanuel Kennedy. She was born Feb. 6, 1922, in Henning, daughter of the late Beacher and Berda (Bonds) Snow. She was a beautician for 50 years. She was a member of Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a senior choir member, Sunday school teacher, president of the Patsy McCord Mission Circle and on the Mother’s Board. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Henry and Ellarine Moses Jr. of Union City; eight grandchildren and the spouse of one, Otondaette and Wayne Felton, Arisa Moses and Emeka Moses, all of Union City, Henry Moses III of Bowling Green, Ky., Chinney Moses and Tierany Moses, both of Smyrna, Evickiette Moses of Louisville, Ky., and Minnette Scruggs of Cleveland, Ohio; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Willma and Gearldine Bonds of Henning and Lonzo Bonds of Indianapolis; 17 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
