CLASS REUNION — Members of the Class of 1957 of the former Rives High School met recently at Blue Bank Restaurant at Reelfoot Lake. Attending were (front, from left) Bobbie (May) Pruett of Waverly, Betty (Long) Isbell of Rives, Beatrice (Hazelwood) Stubblefield of South Fulton, Mary “Cissy” (Winter) Ermis of Martin, Joe Russell of Memphis, David Russell of Union City, Merlin Lyell of Union City, (back) Jimmy Hansbrough of Senatobia, Miss., Wendell Pate of Martin, Bill Cherry of Union City, Carl D. Little of Dickson, Betty (Isbell) Craft and Tommy Craft, both of Rives, Bobby H. McClure of Montgomery, Ala., and W. Joe Savage of Rives. Others attending were Robert Pruett, Bill Stubblefield, Nelle Russell, Arlene Russell, JoAnn Lyell, Joanne Hansbrough, Jean Cherry, Linda Little, Betty McClure and Rachel Savage. A moment of silence was observed remembering the six class members who are deceased: Dean McWherter, Kenneth Isbell, Faye (Richards) Roberts, Waymon Roberts, Betty Lou (Hime) Milner and Linda (Malone) Slagle.
