Miss Billingsley, Gray to wed

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Allyson Colby Billingsley and Matthew Kirk Gray, both of Union City, is being announced today. The bride-elect is the daughter of Claud and Carmen Billingsley of Union City. Her grandparents are Bill Harrison and the late Melba Harrison and the late James and Rata Billingsley, all of Union City. She is a graduate of Union City High School and the University of Tennessee at Martin. While at UTM, she was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority. She is employed at Abernathy’s in Union City. The groom-elect is the son of Guy Walker and Patty Gray of Union City. He is the grandson of Guy Hugh and Jane Gray and the late Leburn and Ruthie Kirk, all of Union City. Gray attended Obion County Central High School. He is employed by Gray Farms. The couple will exchange vows 7 p.m. Aug. 16 at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Union City. Music will begin at 6:30. A reception will be held following the ceremony at the church. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. Only out-of-town invitations will be sent. Published in The Messenger 6.19.08
