Kids Club event set

Children will be able to vote dairy when the Dyersburg Mall Kids Club offers them a chance to taste what the “candidates” from the cheese, yogurt and milk parties are offering June 26. Each child will make a paper bag puppet of their favorite candidate, with the assistance of Caitlin Fogarty of the Dyer County 4-H Club. Parents are encouraged to bring their children to the Center Court at 5:30 p.m. to join in the fun. The program is geared toward children ages 3-8, but is open to anyone who wishes to attend. The Kids Club is a free monthly event which teaches children about such things as safety, gardening, weather and exercise. Typically held the fourth Thursday of each month, the program includes a learning presentation and a craft or activity. Published in The Messenger 6.18.08
