The Messenger 06.18.08 RETIREES HONORED — Several teachers and support staff employees who are retiring from the Obion County Board of Education were honored during a retirement reception prior to Monday night’s Obion County School Board meeting at Ridgemont Elementary School. They included (from left, front row) Fay Jamerson, who has retired from food service at Obion County Central High School with eight years of service; OCCHS teacher Donna Gallimore, who has retired with 39 years of total service to the school system; South Fulton Elementary teacher Robbie Johnson, who has retired with 40 years of service; Hillcrest Elementary teacher Debbie Bowlin, who has retired with 30 years and four months of service; Lake Road Elementary teacher Judy Hampton, who has retired with 30 years of service; (back row) OCCHS teacher Tom Rice, who has retired with 28 years of service in Obion County; Harold Martin, who has retired from maintenance at South Fulton Elementary with seven years of service; and Ridgemont Elementary teacher Marshall Campbell, who has retired with 29 years of service. Not pictured are Black Oak Elementary teacher Frances Perkins, 30 years of service; Lake Road bus driver Lois Hogg, 23 years; Lake Road custodian Ruth Ann Ladd, 11 years; Lake Road teacher Jackie Russell, 33 years; and Ridgemont teacher Linda Stephens, 42 years.
