The Messenger. 06.10.08 Completed arrangements are being announced for Ruby Heithcock, 83, of Union City, formerly of South Fulton, who died June 8, 2008, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City. Graveside services were set for 11 a.m. today at Obion County Memorial Gardens, with Dr. Jack Acree officiating. Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton was in charge of arrangements. The family requests that memorials be made to Fulton First Baptist Church building fund, 115 Second St., Fulton, KY 42041. She was born Jan. 23, 1925, in Obion County, daughter of the late Henry C. and Katie (Reece) Kilgore. She was the widow of Boyce Heithcock, who died June 25, 2006, and was a retired elementary school teacher in the Obion County School System. She had lived in the South Fulton area all her life and was a member of Fulton First Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Carol (Heithcock) Wright of South Fulton; two grandchildren, Kevin S. Wright of St. Marys, Ga., and Lori Bynum of South Fulton; and five great-grandchildren, Zachary Bynum, Kaitlynn Bynum and Hannah Bynum, all of South Fulton, and Elijah Wright and Cooper Wright, both of St. Marys.
