The Messenger. 06.09.08 Completed arrangements are being announced for Roy T. Brockwell, 69, of the Cayce (Ky.) community. He died 9:45 a.m. June 5, 2008, at his home. Services were 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, with the Revs. Rufus Moore and David Kelly and Amanda King officiating. Burial followed in Cayce Cemetery. Pallbearers were Paul E. Kelly, Les G. Kelly, Shane Brockwell, Chris Brockwell, David Kelly, Joe Foederer, Mike Brockwell and Jimmy Kirby. Honorary pallbearers were Christopher Foederer, Garett Kelly, Justin Foederer, Zac Kelly, Scott Hall, Jeff Clark and Danny Akers. The family requests that memorials be made to Fulton/South Fulton Relay for Life, 302 Carr St., Fulton, KY 42041. He was born May 2, 1939, in Fulton County, Ky., son of the late Claude M. and Lola Dovie (Davis) Brockwell. He was the owner/operator of the Roy T. Brockwell Concrete Construction Co. and was a U.S. Army veteran. He had lived in this area most of his life. Survivors include his wife, Jane (Pinion) Brockwell, whom he married July 2, 1971; three daughters, Angela (Brockwell) Kirby of Cayce, Ky., Phyllis (Kelly) Hall of Henderson and Shellie (Kelly) Foederer of Fulton; five sons, Paul E. Kelly of Hickman, Ky., Les G. Kelly and Christopher T. Brockwell, both of Fulton, Shane Brockwell of Cayce and David R. Kelly of Clinton, Ky.; 25 grandchildren; four sisters, Jan Myers of Fulton, Joyce Richter of Mascoutah, Ill., Bet Rowland of Belleview, Ill., and Sue MaKenna of Michigan; and three brothers, Elvis Brockwell of Henderson, Ky., Ronnie Brockwell of Beelerton, Ky., and Charlie Brockwell of Michigan.
