UC board to meet
The Messenger. 06.06.08 Union City Board of Education will meet 6 p.m. Monday at Union City Municipal Building for the June board meeting. Among the items to be discussed will be a review of the federal projects application under the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001. All interested citizens and parents of students in Union City schools are invited to review and make comments pertaining to the design, planning and implementation for the following: Title I, Part A, Improving the Academic Achievement of the Disadvantaged; Title II, Part A, Teacher and Principal Training and Recruiting; Title II, Part D, Enhancing Education Through Technology; Title IV, Part A, Safe and Drug-free Schools and Communities; Title V, Part A, Innovative Programs; Title VI, Part B, Rural Education Initiative. The meeting is open to the public.
