GRADUATION CEREMONY — The Obion County Adult Leadership class of 2007-08 recently celebrated graduation at the Hampton Centré in Union City. After dinner, the class was addressed by Robert Kirkland, who along with his wife, Jenny, shared with the class plans for the Discovery Park of America. Among the graduates were (front row, from left) Pat Fligor of the Obion County Chamber of Commerce, Laura Dodd of Kiwanis Club, Jody Kizer of First Citizens National Bank, Emily Hall of Computers Direct, Leigh Schlager of Junior Auxiliary, (back) Michael Hagan of Reelfoot Bank, O’Dale Satterfield of Goodyear, Adam Stephens of Obion County School System, Jason Kizer of Kizer Pharmacy and Ron Green of Boys & Girls Club. Applications for the 2008-09 Leadership Obion County program are currently available. Individuals, businesses and community associations may obtain an application at the Main Street office, located at 212 South First St. in downtown Union City, or by calling 885-8330.
