Junior rodeo team to hold fundraiser

The Tennessee Junior Rodeo Wrangler team will hold a fund raiser June 7 at the Ted Baier Roping Arena in Rutherford to pay for travel expenses to the Wrangler National Championship Rodeo in Gallup, N.M. A weekend of activities begins June 6 with barrel races and continue through June 8 with roping events. An auction will begin at 5:30 p.m., June 7, and there will also be a silent auction during the Junior Rodeo, which will kick off at 6. Tickets to the rodeo are $5. All proceeds from the auctions will go towards travel expenses. Many new pieces of merchandise, including tools, horse-related items, household items, pictures, toys and John Deere™ items will be on the auction table.
