The Messenger. 06.02.08 Ester Glendon “Glenn” Jaggers, 71, of Troy died May 31, 2008, in a four-wheeler accident near his home. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Old Union Church in Adamsville, with Ray Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call at White-Ranson Funeral Home 5-8 this evening. Pallbearers will be Richard Morgan, Ron Lawler, Don Allen, Tommy Morris, Danny Kilburn and Walstine Jaggers. He was born July 24, 1936, in Adamsville, son of the late Francis Garvis and Serena May (Hughes) Jaggers. He was the widower of the former Juanita Bailey, who died in 1994. He had been employed at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. for 28 years before his retirement and was a U.S. Army veteran. He had been a member of Local 878 USWA. Survivors include his daughter, April Turrentine of Troy; his son, Brian Street of Troy; four grandsons, Joshua McGee, Nicholas McGee, Logan Turrentine and Seth Turrentine, all of Troy; three brothers, Jim Jaggers and Vestal Jaggers, both of Michigan, and Walstine Jaggers of Crump; and two sisters, Janice Yarbrough of Morris Chapel and Peggy Hanna of Memphis.
