The Messenger. 05.28.08 Frances Brown, 86, of Yorkville, sister of Gale Freeman of Rutherford, died May 22, 2008, at Dyer Nursing Home. Services were 1 p.m. Saturday at Bells Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Yorkville, with burial following there in Bells Chapel Cemetery. The Rev. Joey Edwards officiated. Leitherland Funerl Home in Rutherford was in charge of arrangements. She was born Feb. 14, 1922, daughter of the late Marvin and Emma Lou (Toombs) Littleton. She was the widow of Harry Brown and was a retired employee of Kellwood Factory. She was a member of Bells Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Survivors also include two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Jamie Brown of Eads and Eugene and Joan Brown of Yorkville; her daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Steve Larkin of Oswego, Ill; five grandchildren and their spouses, Gina and Bill Chapman, Destry and Tracy Brown, Kelly and Alsia Brown, Andy and Tracy Alford and Chris and Kevin Sorby; and four great-grandchildren, Adam Brown, Whitney Alford, Cody Alford and Gavin Brown.
