90 YEARS — Ruth (Craig) Grooms of Fulton will be celebrating her 90th birthday with a reception 2-4 p.m. June 7 in the fellowship hall of the Parkway Church of Christ in Fulton. She was born June 19, 1918, in Benton County, daughter of the late James Wiley and Ida Marshall Craig. Mrs. Grooms married the late J.L. “Bill” Grooms in 1939. They had been married for 29 years at his death. She has six children, Patsy (Grooms) Craven of Fulton, the late Billy L. Grooms, Lowell Grooms of South Fulton, the late Ginger Grooms, Pam (Grooms) Jackson of Pilot Oak, Ky., and Tammy (Grooms) Curtis of Poplar Bluff, Mo. She has 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. All friends and family are invited to attend the celebration. The honoree requests no gifts.
