A.K. Norville

The Messenger. 05.26.08 A.K. Norville, 82, of Hickman, Ky., died 5:30 a.m. May 24, 2008, at Union City Manor Nursing Home. Services were set for 11 a.m. today at Strong Funeral Home in Hickman, with Dr. Matthew Wohlfarth officiating. Burial was to follow in Hickman City Cemetery. Pallbearers were to be David Norville, John Norville, Jeff Norville, Gerald Harris, Norman Williams and Bobby Markle. He was born Aug. 17, 1925, in Gadsden, son of the late Enis and Nina Norville. He was a retired locomotive engineer with ICG Railroad and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of Union City First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Norville of Hickman; his son, Kyral Norville of Jackson; his stepson, Joe Bondurant of Troy; and three grandsons, David Norville of Jackson and Jeff Norville and John Norville, both of Boston. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
