Lila Virginia Watson Williams
Lila Virginia Watson Williams, 77, of Chicago, Ill., died Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at her residence.
Services were held 11 a.m. Monday at Bowlin Funeral Home, with Bro. Wayne Perkins and Bro. Keith Sumner officiating. Burial was in Sunset Cemetery in Dresden. Bowlin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Phillip Cannizzo, Garrett Cannizzo, Larry Rife, Warren Rife, Scotty Hodges and Joey Pierce served as pallbearers.
Mrs. Williams was born in Weakley County, daughter of the late John Henry and Zelma Ozro Killebrew Watson. She was a homemaker and a member of Maplewood Bible Baptist Church in Chicago, Ill.
Survivors include her husband, James Doyle Williams of Chicago, Ill.; one daughter, Pam (Russell) Cannizzo of Arlington Heights, Ill.; five sisters, Ruby Smith of Martin, Nellie Rife and Annie Ruth Giangrego, both of Chicago, Ill., Catherine Swanson and Mary Govro, both of St. Louis, Mo.; and three grandchildren, Phillip Cannizzo, Garrett Cannizzo and Natalie Cannizzo, all of Arlington Heights, Ill.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Lottie Hodges, Mozelle Hoggard and Elzie Myers; and four brothers, Carl Watson, Dan Watson, Sam Watson and W. P. Watson.
