Lewis Randolph “Randy” Owens, 44, of Newbern died May 19, 2008, at his home. He was the son of Edmond and Linda (Jordan) Owens of Troy.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home, with Dr. Vann Kissell officiating. Burial will follow in Dyersburg at Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael Olive, Brian Olive, Ronnie Owens, Byron Smith, Art Jordan and Walter Jordan.
Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon King and Mike Smith.
Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. Thursday.
He was born June 14, 1963, in Dyersburg and was an electrical engineer at Colonial Rubber and M.A. Hanna and had also been employed at L&H Supply in Jackson. He was a member of Newbern First Baptist Church.
Survivors also include his wife, Brenda (Smith) Owens; three daughters, Amber Owens, Holly Owens and Sarah Beth Owens, all of Newbern; his brother, Ronnie Owens of Troy; his sister, Candace Jordan of Troy; and his grandfather, Arthur Jordan of Dyersburg.
