Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Ray of Kenton and Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Patterson of Greenfield are happy to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their children, Lydia Beth Ann Ray and Lance Cpl. Robert Paul Taylor.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Emily Woods of Kenton and the late Dairl Woods, Peggy and Grady Ray of Kenton and the late Joye and Charles Kempf.
Miss Ray will be a 2008 graduate of Obion County Central High School. She plans to pursue a career in the medical field after moving to North Carolina.
The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of LA and Rebecca Baucom of Kenton and Ruby
June Taylor of Rutherford and the late Don Taylor.
Taylor is a 2004 graduate of Greenfield High School and 2006 graduate of McKenzie Technological Center with a certificate in tool and die. He joined the U.S. Marines in 2006 and is an air framer on CH-53 helicopters.

The couple will exchange vows at 3 p.m., June 7, at Moore’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Greenfield. Music will begin at 2:30. A reception in the fellowship hall of the church will follow the ceremony.
All family and friends are invited to attend. Only out of town invitations will be sent.
The couple will temporarily reside at Edwards Air Force Base in California until the groom transfers in August to Cherry Point, N.C.
