LIFE-CHANGING LESSON — The Obion County Chapter of Tennessee Right to Life recently invited speakers sponsored by “Moms ALIVE (Adoptive Life Is Very Exciting)” to speak on facts about teen pregnancy and the decisions, choices and options available. They included (from left) Christine Bowersox and Joi Wasill, who spoke in Union City High School wellness classes. The two women are from the Nashville area and work with schools there to provide the students with current facts to enable them to make informed decisions. They addressed such topics as adoption, parenting and abortion; provided current facts, statistics and information; and answered many questions from the students. Their main goal is to prevent a pregnancy from occurring and to provide information on other options instead of abortion. “One life changed is worth all the work,” a local Right to Life spokesman said.
