Final wedding plans announced
The final wedding plans for Amie Marie Roberson and Lace Thomas “Corey” Busby III, both of Hickman, Ky., are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Roberson of Hickman. She is the grandaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ivey of Hickman and the late Yvone and Gertrude Roberson of Ridgely.
The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lace Thomas Busby Jr. of Hickman. His grandparents are Howard Erwin, the late Vonelle Erwin, the late Lace Busby Sr., the late Josh and Selene McClure, all of Hickman, and Betty Ray of Clinton, Ky.
Lacy Roberson, sister of the bride-elect, of Hickman will serve as maid of honor. Bridesmaids will be Kristi Roberson, cousin of the bride-elect, of Union City; Magan Huey of Murfreesboro; and Ashley Goodson and Sarah Jones, both of Hickman. Her best man will be her cousin, Nick Roberson of Union City. The flower girl will be Chloe Rangel, friend of the bride-elect, of Hickman.
The groom-elect’s father will serve as best man. Groomsmen will be Darrin Jones, Justin Mathis and Wade Adams, cousins of the groom-elect, all of Hickman; and Garrett Sommerfield of Hickman and Skylar Pharris of Madisonville, Ky., both friends of the groom-elect. Ushers will be Will Rice of Hickman, Lee Lunsford of Union City and Jared Warner of Hickman, all friends of the bridal couple; Colt Mitchell, cousin of the bride-elect, of Memphis; and Randy Adams, cousin of the groom-elect, of Hickman. Ian Goodman, friend of the bridal couple, of Hickman will be ring bearer.
Runner attendants will be Grant Wiley and Cullen Wiley, nephews of the groom-elect, both of Hickman. The program attendants will be Ivey Westbrooks, cousin of the bride-elect, of Union City and Olivia Wilson, cousin of the groom-elect of Hickman. The register attendant will be Tracey Westbrooks, cousin of the bride-elect, of Union City.
Vocalist will be Kristi Cole of Hickman. Pianist will be Vera Holliday of Hickman and the chimes will be rung by Sara Kate Rice of Hickman. Father Mike Williams of Murray, Ky., and the Rev. Steve Elder of Fulton will officiate the double-ring ceremony at 6:30 Saturday at Hickman First United Methodist Church. Music will begin at 6.
A reception will follow at the Hickman Country Club.
