Completed arrangements are being announced for Reba Jean (Brown) Forsee, 82, of Paducah, Ky., who died there at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at 10:45 a.m. May 18, 2008. She was a former resident of Fulton and South Fulton.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Rehobeth Cemetery in Dyer County.
There will be no visitation. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for services. Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton is in charge of arrangements.
She was born June 12, 1925, in Obion County, daughter of the late Roy Lee and Minnie Irma (Reed) Brown. She was the widow of Earl Drummond Forsee Jr. and was a member of Parkway Church of Christ in Fulton. She had been a supervisor at the former K-Mart store in Mayfield, Ky., and had lived in the Fulton-South Fulton area all her life. She was a Kentucky Colonel.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jean and John Clanton of Fancy Farm, Ky.; three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Earl “Bob” and Linda Forsee of Brewers, Ky., Joe Brown and Carmen Anne (Cosner) Forsee of Dalton, Ga., and John Ray and Kathy Forsee of Bowling Green, Ky.; her sister, Patty May Brundige of Huntingdon; and eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Mary Nell Janes; and her brother, Harry Brown.
