Miss Lane, Babb to wed

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Jamie Leigh Ann Lane to Drew Tyson Babb is being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Lane of Jackson. She is the granddaughter of the late Leroy and Linnie Lane and Bertha Burns and the late Clarence Burns, all of Jackson.
She is a 2003 graduate of Jackson Central Merry High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in education from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2007. She is employed as a teacher in the Weakley County School System at Dresden Middle School.
The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Babb of Union City. He is the grandson of Mildred Babb and the late James Babb of Union City and Thelma Permenter and the late James Permenter of Dyersburg.
He is a 2003 graduate of Union City High School. He plans to receive a bachelor of science degree, with a major in business management, from UTM in 2008. He is employed at Domino’s in the management-in-training program.
The couple will wed at 6 p.m. July 19 at Grace United Methodist Church in Jackson. Music will begin at 5:30. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of the church.
All family and friends are invited to attend.
After a honeymoon in the Caribbean, the couple will reside in Martin.
