Completed arrangements are being announced for Lois Jean Miller, 80, of Fulton. She died 9:55 a.m. May 18, 2008, at Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton.
Services were set for 1 p.m. today at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, with burial following there in Pleasant View Memorial Gardens.
The family requests that memorials be made to Fulton Public Library, 312 Main St., Fulton, KY 42041.
She was born Nov. 16, 1927, in Lakeland, Fla., daughter of the late Loel Hindman and Lois (Callahan) Owen. She was married to Rodney Arthur Miller, who survives, and was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Fulton. She was the retired healthcare administrator at Haws Memorial Nursing Home in Fulton and had lived in the Fulton area all her life. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors also include four daughters and her son-in-law, Merideth and Larry Wood of Humboldt, Allyson Wilhite of Chico, Calif., Paige Miller of Memphis and Susan Miller of Fulton; her son, Scott Miller of Athens, Ga.; her sister, Mary Lee Lyons of Lakeland, Fla.; and eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
