Children’s hospital to benefit

Students of the Music Place, under the direction of Rita Winter, will be presented in recital Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Obion County Public Library on Reelfoot Avenue in Union City.
The recital will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis.
Performing at the piano will be Jo Anderson, Carter Arnold, Farin Cloyd, Taylor Crittendon, Chelsea Hale, Malek Jones, Kwame Nuako, Glennese Patterson, MiKayla Scillion, Aranda Tate and Andrew Warner.
Vocal soloists will be Alexis Arnold, Sarah Beavers, Kaylee Burton, Rebecca Easley, Alex Little, Linda St. Clair, Sarah Triplett, Madison Turner, Ariana Warner and John-Alex Warner.
A performance by “The Orffateers” will feature Bayleigh French, Avery Johnson, Aleigha Beth Keeling, Aubree Keeling, Meg Kizer, Josh Matheny and Jacob Virgin.
Guest performers will be John Alston, pianist, and Danielle Alston, vocalist. Dr. Egbert Rebeiro will be singing with Ms. Winter.
The concert is free and the public is invited to attend. A love offering for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will be received.
