The Tennessee Re-entry Collaborative (TREC) to hold Annual Conference
The Tennessee Re-entry Collaborative (TREC) will hold
its 4th Annual Conference in Nashville this week. TREC is a partnership
of public, private and non-profit agencies working together to identify
the needs of offenders being released back into the community. “By
working together, pooling our talents and resources, we help individuals
gain knowledge, earn a living wage, maintain sobriety, and reconnect
with their family and community, said TDOC Assistant Commissioner Jim
Cosby, Chairman of TREC. “Ultimately, it’s that collaboration that
improves the communities in which we live.”
The theme for this year’s conference is “Re-energize, Re-focus,
Ready to Make a Difference.”
