Miss Barker, Grear to wed
The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Terri Jane “T.J.” Barker and Benjamin Joplin Grear are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sherrill Barker of Tiptonville. She is the granddaughter of the late John Robert and Jane Donnell and the late Lyman and Marguerite Barker, all of Tiptonville.
She is a graduate of Obion County Central High School and the University of Tennessee at Martin. She earned her doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy-Memphis in 2006.
She is employed as a pharmacist with Kroger in Millington.
The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Grear of Memphis. He is the grandson of Ken and Betty Joplin of Eads, Ben and Pat Carr of Cotter, Ark., and Newton and Imogene Grear of Memphis.
He is a graduate of Bartlett High School in Memphis and Lambuth University in Jackson. He earned his doctor of medicine degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine-Memphis in 2007.
He is an orthopedic surgery resident with Campbells Clinic in Memphis.
The couple will exchange vows on Saturday in Memphis.
