100th birthday celebrated

Minnie Mansfield, a resident of the Weakley County Rehab and Nursing Home in Dresden, turned 100 years old on April 2. On April 5, friends and family gathered from Tennessee, Illinois, Florida and Michigan to celebrate the occasion. Good times and lots of memories were enjoyed by all. Everyone wished Mrs. Mansfield a happy birthday with many more to follow.
Those in attendance were Relma Allen, Earl Allen, Donna Hencinski, Cheryl Hotevec, Dale Davis, Sheila Davis, Justin Taylor, Josh Taylor, Missy Taylor, Austin Taylor, Dustin Taylor, Mallory Taylor, Noah Taylor, Rita Taylor, Altantis Taylor, Anita Wilson, Richard Watson, Carol Watson, Nicole Watson and her sons Keenan Tracey Watson and Payton, Ruth Scott, her son Larry and her daughters Brenda and Beverly, Janne Bizzel, Ty Bizzle, Sherry Rhoudenbush, Virginia Taylor, Cynthia and Alexis Davis, Harry Barber and Linda, plus several residents and staff from the nursing home.
Everyone was thanked for attending this special event, especially the staff that helped serve the cake and refreshments.
