Scout camp slated

Cub Scout Day Camp will be held June 18-20 from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. daily at the Obion County Fairgrounds in Union City.
The theme for the 2008 camp will be “Cub Scouting: Passport to Adventure.” Participants will enjoy archery, bb guns, games and craft projects, as well as receive T-shirts.
Lunch and snacks will be provided.
The cost is $60, with an early bird fee being $50 for registrations paid before May 16.
New scouts are welcome, organizers said. They will pay an additional $10 to cover the Boy Scout annual registration fee and, in the fall, they will join a pack and have a whole year of fun with scouting. Boys completing kindergarten can join scouts now, attend Cub Scout Day Camp this summer and participate in a whole year of fun with scouting in the first grade as Tiger Cubs. They will also pay an additional $10 to cover the Boy Scout annual registration fee.
A brochure and registration form are available from the Web site www.boyscouts.TN.org or by calling the Boy Scout Service Center at (731) 668-3787 for more information and other Cub Scout Day Camp locations.
