The Union City School System has announced the following lunch menus for May 5-9:
Union City High School
Monday, May 5 — Baked chicken patty with bun, buttered potatoes, green beans, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Tuesday, May 6 — Beef spaghetti with Texas toast, fried okra, black-eyed peas, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Wednesday, May 7 — Chicken noodle casserole with roll, corn, green peas, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Thursday, May 8 — Ham and cheese sandwich with bun, baked beans, cole slaw, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Friday, May 9 — Cheeseburger with bun, French fries, fresh sandwich salad cup, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Note: Union City High School offers fiesta bar, reduced-fat pizza bar and fresh salad bar options daily.
Union City Middle School
Monday, May 5 — Baked chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, roll, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Tuesday, May 6 — Beef steak with gravy, fried okra, black-eyed peas, cornbread, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Wednesday, May 7 — Beef Macho Nacho with cheese sauce and chips, baked beans, cole slaw, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Thursday, May 8 — Chicken Tetrazzini with crackers, corn, green peas, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Friday, May 9 — Baked potato with chili or ham, fresh salad cup, steamed broccoli with cheese sauce, Texas toast, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Note: Union City Middle School offers reduced-fat pizza bar and fresh salad bar options daily.

Monday, May 5 — Baked chicken nuggets or pimento cheese sandwich, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, roll, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Tuesday, May 6 — Ham and cheese with bun or corn dog, fried okra, black-eyed peas, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Wednesday, May 7 — Barbecue pork with bun or manager’s choice of meat and bread, baked beans, cole slaw, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Thursday, May 8 — Chicken noodle casserole with Texas toast or tuna salad sandwich with whole-grain bread, corn, green peas, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Friday, May 9 — Cheeseburger with bun or peanut butter and jelly sandwich with whole-grain bread, French fries, fresh sandwich salad cup, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
