| Beautifying the city | | | | To recognize Earth Day, several clients form Community Development Services participated in picking up trash, planting trees and recycling garbage. Clients picked up trash in lots beside Sav-A-Lot in Martin and Dollar General. They planted Cypress Trees deemed “Noah” beside the CDS Center on Hannings Lane. Later on in the day, the clients met in front of the University of Tennessee at Martin’s University Center to partner up with UTM students and recycle garbage as part of the college’s observance of Earth Week 2008 last week.
