Miss Gray, Conner to wed
The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Laura Elizabeth “Laura Beth” Gray of Union City and Ronald Keith Conner of Troy are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Elizabeth “Betty” Gray and the late Michael Gregory Gray of Union City. Her grandparents are Rosemary Jackson, the late William F. Jackson and the late John R. and Jane A. Gray, all of Union City.
She is a 2000 graduate of Union City High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she received a bachelor of science in family and consumer services with a concentration in dietetics.
She is employed at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center in Dyersburg as a registered dietitian.
The groom-elect is the son of Ronald Lynn and Donna Conner of Troy. He is the grandson of Bascom and Hazel Cunningham, Helen Conner Edwards, the late G.C. Conner Jr. and the late R.A. Edwards, all of Troy.
He is a 1992 graduate of Obion County Central High School. He graduated in 1996 from the University of Tennessee at Martin, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in agricultural business.
He is self-employed in the family cattle and hay operation in Troy.
The couple will wed at 2:30 p.m. June 28 at Bishop Street Church of Christ in Union City. Music will begin at 2.
A reception will follow at Eddie Cox Senior Center in Union City.
Only out-of-town invitations will be sent. All friends and family are invited to attend the ceremony and reception.
