The first party was held in the fellowship hall of Calvary Baptist Church in Union City.
An “Army” theme was used. Balloons and Army centerpieces, made by his mother and great-grandmother, Ruth Hanks of Mason Hall, decorated the tables.
Guests were served pizza, chips, cake, ice cream, soft drinks and Kool-Aid™. Treat bags were distributed.
Attending, in addition to his mother and great-grandmother, were his grandparents, Richard and Beverly Hanks of Union City; his great-grandfather, Junior Hanks of Mason Hall; and his uncle, aunt and cousins, Matt and Fran Payne, Autumn, Britney and Hagan of Rives.
Others attending were Lindsay Campbell, Leigh Faulkner, Joyce Cheatham, Diane Cheatham, Carolyn Cheatham, Denese and Carly Hicks, Carrie and Noah Hatchett, Mandy, Jakob and Samantha Hopper, Jerry and Missy, Tobey and Pacey Gammons, all of Union City; Amanda, Chloe and Avery Weaks of Troy; and Brittney, Eli, Hannah and Lydia Carlisle of South Fulton.
Sending wishes was his grandmother, JoAnn Payne of North Carolina.
Another party was held at Union City Elementary School, where the honoree attends pre-K.
An Army theme was used. Decorated cupcakes, chips and Kool-Aid were served to the honoree, his teacher and his classmates.
The last party was held at Children’s Corner Daycare, where the honoree attends.
Cookies, chips and juice were served to the honoree and his classmates.
