Nashville Metro Police Department has arrested three individuals in the bank robbery of the Regions Bank located on University Street in Martin.
Edward L. Tharpe, 48, Latoya L. Wilson, 22, and Pamela S. Wilson, 44, all of 118 East Peach St. in Martin, were arrested without incident. The Wilsons were identified as mother and daughter.
According to a press release from the Martin Police Department, “items were located in the possession of the three at the time of the arrest that linked them to the robbery.”
Tharpe was charged with aggravated robbery and theft over $1,000 while the Wilsons were charged with accessory after the fact, with other charges possibly pending.
Martin Police Chief David Moore said cooperation between “Martin police investigators led by Capt. Randal Walker, Jackson office of the FBI, UT Martin Police, State Bomb and Arson, Camden Police Department and Nashville Metro PD all led to the quick detection and apprehension of these suspects.”
