Holy Week services scheduled
The Martin Area Ministerial Association will again be providing a series of Holy Week noonday services immediately prior to Easter Sunday. The Monday through Friday services will begin at noon each day and feature music and devotion time followed by a snack lunch provided at the host church. All activities will be complete by 1 p.m. The schedule for the services is as follows:
•Monday, March 17, at Trinity Presbyterian Church with Dr. Jere Phillips, interim pastor of First Baptist Church, speaking;
•Tuesday, March 18, at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Tate, pastor of First United Methodist, speaking;
•Wednesday, March 19, at First United Pentecostal Church with Elliot Linhoss, college minister of Central Baptist Church, speaking;
•Thursday, March 20, at McCabe United Methodist Church with Jolinne Balentine-Downey, UTM Interfaith Center minister, speaking;
•Friday, March 21, at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wayne Spencer, pastor of First United Pentecostal Church, speaking.
