ROAD REPAIRS — The Obion County Highway Department dispatched a crew to Marshall Kirk Road Thursday afternoon to stabilize an embankment and install a new culvert. Chris True operated the big Trac Hoe as Charles Baldridge (left) and Danny Gilles waited to resume their work. Also on hand were employees Woody Pugh and Gerald Williams (not pictured). County highway superintendent Gary Lofton said work began at the site Tuesday and was completed Thursday afternoon. “The embankment collapsed and the old culvert was damaged,” he said.
