Final plans announced for Miss Newton, Wilbanks
Final plans are being announced today for the upcoming wedding of Ashley Ann Newton of South Fulton and Jonathan Clint Wilbanks of Martin.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Kay and David Newton of South Fulton. She is the granddaughter of Eva Newton and the late Harold Newton and the late Mary Jeanne and Billy Joe King, all of South Fulton.
The groom-elect is the son of Gordon and Janet Wilbanks of McConnell community. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Cletus Wilbanks and Milburn Harris and the late Edwina Harris, all of McConnell.
The couple will exchange vows 5 p.m. Feb. 23 at McConnell Baptist Church. Music will begin at 4:30.
Amy Barclay and Kelly Patterson, both of South Fulton, will serve as matron of honor and maid of honor, respectively. The bridesmaids will be Lauren Macklin and Chrissie Lampbell, both of South Fulton, Jennifer McDaniel of Covington, Natalie Stokes of New York, N.Y., and Maria Wilbanks of Butler, Pa.
Cory Wilbanks of Butler will be the best man. Serving as groomsmen will be Seth Howell, Matthew Bynum, William Adams, Justin Taylor, Cecil May and Gerry Franklin, all of South Fulton.
A reception will be held in the fellowship hall of the church following the ceremony. All friends and family are invited to attend.
