Pageant to benefit Project Graduation

The Obion County Central High School Class of 2008 will be sponsoring a Valentine Pageant to benefit Project Graduation Feb. 16 at Ridgemont Elementary School.
The event will be held in the gymnasium and the doors will open at 9 a.m., with the pageant beginning at 10. An entry fee of $15 will be charged, with an extra $5 fee for the most photogenic category.
Door admission will be $3, with children younger than age 5 admitted free. One adult will be admitted free with each contestant.
Winners in the categories for girls ages 6-9, 10-12, 13-15 and 16-21 will be eligible to compete in the 2008 West Tennessee Strawberry Festival Pageant. Strawberry Festival rules will apply.
The age groups include: Boys, birth to 23 months and 2-3 years; Girls: birth to 12 months, 13-23 months, 2-3 years, 4-5 years, 6-9 years, 10-12 years, 13-15 years and 16-21 years.
There will be a photographer, concessions area and a large dressing area available for all participants.
Applications may be picked up at numerous businesses.
