Union City Council will meet Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at the Municipal Building courtroom.
Items on the agenda include consideration of an offer from Timothy and Christina Warford to purchase lot 14 in the Mosswood subdivision; authorization for the mayor to sign a letter in opposition to EPA’s proposal to lower the current eight-hour ground level ozone standard; authorization to accept bids for the demolition of property at 306 North Taylor St.; consideration of a resolution to authorize the execution and submittal of an application to the state Department of Economic and Community Development for fiscal year 2008 Community Development Block Grant funds; consideration of appointments to several committees and boards; receiving minutes of the Jan. 17 Planning Commission meeting; and consideration of a new date for the February orientation meeting.
The meeting is open to the public.
