Miss Lattus, Miesner to wed
The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Carrie Genet Lattus of Hickman, Ky., and Matthew David Miesner of South Fulton is being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hugh Lattus of Hickman. She is the granddaughter of Louis Roscoe Hutchins of Fulton, the late Hazel Campbell Hutchins, Doris Burcham Lattus of Hickman and the late Hugh L. Lattus.
She graduated from Fulton County (Ky.) High School in 1997 and from Murray State University in 2002, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in business with an area of concentration in computer information systems.
She is employed at Reelfoot Bank in Union City.
The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Miesner of South Fulton. He is the grandson of Beatrice Merk Baughman and the late A. Ray Baughman and JoAnn Borchers Wilson, all of Sedalia, Mo.
He is a 1994 graduate of Martin Westview High School and is employed at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Union City.
The couple will exchange vows 5 p.m. April 12 at Saint Edwards Catholic Church in Fulton. A reception will follow the ceremony at 6:30 at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Jones-Walker Post 4862 in Union City.
All family and friends are invited to attend. Only out-of-town invitations will be sent.
