Mary Frances Primrose, 75, of Troy died Jan. 27, 2008, at her home.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with burial following in East View Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. Tuesday.
Dr. Vann Kissell will officiate. Pallbearers will be Robby Orsborne, Richie Orsborne, Mike Williams, Glen Freeman, Darrell Freeman and Kent Mathis. Honorary pallbearers will be Freeman Long, Charles Barnes, Tommy Parr, Jim Litzelfelner and members of the Pastor’s Class at Troy First Baptist Church.
She was born March 15, 1932, in Union City, daughter of the late John Thomas and Beatrice (Grey) Powell. She married L.T. Primrose in 1947. He died Nov. 8, 1997. She was a retired employee of the former Brown Shoe Co. in McKenzie and several other locations. She had been employed with the shoe company for 35 years. She was a member of Troy First Baptist Church and the Pastor’s Class there.
Survivors include two sons and her daughter-in-law, John M. Primrose and Robert T. and Ina Carol Orsborne, all of Troy; two grandsons and their wives, Robby and Devonda Orsborne of Union City and Richie and Sherry Orsborne of Portland; two great-granddaughters, Kursten Orsborne and Kayla Orsborne, both of Union City; and two sisters, Nadine Ransom of Union City and Charline Freeman of Memphis.
She was also preceded in death by her infant daughter, Theresa Ann Primrose; and her brother, Thomas Enloe Powell.
The family requests that memorials be made to the building fund at Troy First Baptist Church.
