Garry Gilmore, 50, of Martin died Jan. 19, 2008, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.
Services were set for 1:30 p.m. today at Open Door Church of God in Christ in Brooklyn, N.Y. Bishop Barbara Bolden of Union City was to officiate. Interment was to follow in Pine Lawn Cemetery in Farmingdale, N.Y.
He was born Aug. 10, 1957, in Brooklyn, son of the late Eugene and Pauline (Arnette) Gilmore. He was a U.S. postal worker before moving to Martin and was a member of Anointed Church of the Living God in Union City, where he was a minister in training.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah (McMullin) Gilmore; his daughter, Sabrina Johnson of Brooklyn; his son, Garry Jamel Gillmore of Brooklyn; and five sisters and four brothers.
