A local game warden for the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency has been charged with assault following an alleged altercation Friday night at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
James Frank Evans, 53, of 234 Sleepy Callis Road, Troy, was arrested at 10:10 p.m. Friday at the hospital at 1201 Bishop St. on a single charge of domestic assault, according to a Union City Police Department report.
The charge stems from an alleged altercation between Evans and a male family member at the hospital. The 18-year-old victim had redness on the right side of his face as the result of alleging having been struck and police reported that officers believed Evans to be the primary aggressor in the fight.
