Humboldt woman charged with moving, leaving dogs

HUMBOLDT (AP) — Police in Humboldt say a woman moved from a house and left 11 dogs without food and water.
Authorities went to the house after receiving a complaint and found three dogs inside it and eight more chained up outside.
Officials destroyed three of the animals and took the rest to a veterinarian for treatment.
Police arrested 30-year-old Lasandra Lavern Lemons, charging her with cruelty to animals.
Lemons posted $11,000 bond.
