Carolyn Jean Ozment, 68, of Dyer, mother of Sissy McConnell of Rives, died Jan. 22, 2008, at her home.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Karnes and Sons Funeral Home in Dyer, with burial following there in Oakwood Cemetery.
She was born Dec. 19, 1939, in Gibson Wells, daughter of the late Watt and Freida Horner. She married Roger Ozment May 28, 1971. He survives.
Other survivors include three grandchildren, Leah Taylor of Hornbeak, Allan Dill of Union City and Kyle McConnell of Rives; her great-granddaughter, Lani Rae Taylor of Hornbeak; her son-in-law, Jamie McConnell of Rives; her brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Sarah Horner of Gibson Wells; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Alan Ray Dawson.
